So the cat is out of the bag…..Even the wealthy use athletics to get into the most prestigious ivy league colleges and universities like Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. These ivy league sports don’t come with cheerleaders, crowds or followings, but it may just give your student the umph it needs for acceptance.
If your kid isn’t a straight A student, but would like a shot at an ivy league degree, it is possible. You don’t have to be the best at the sport, nor have to be D1 scholarship-good. Athletics could possibly do the trick, but we suggest you actually compete. Several of the ivy league sports listed have athletes that have gone on to the Olympics. It’s the law of supply and demand. Since these sports aren’t the most popular, these athletes are a hot commodity.
Please understand that the ivy leagues don’t offer athletic scholarships. Scholarships are offered on a financial need basis. We’re only suggesting these sports just for admission purposes only.
